Finding Feeds

I found the Bloglines Search Tool to be very easy to use. It’s a great place to find feeds, posts, citations and the web. As a computer technician dealing with Microsoft products on a daily basis, I added: Microsoft Download Center and Microsoft Watch.

Feedster is great. You can search billions of posts. You can choose to search blogs, news, and podcasts. I like that the home page gives you the most popular searches , and the feed of the day. They also have Content Channels powered by Feedpapers that offer channels on things like technology sports, and politics. I added a feed from CrashLaughing.com. It has funny quotes and jokes to give some comic relief to your day.

Syndic8.com has lots of great RSS feeds that users have submitted. I subscribed to a Daily News Feed that talks about a wide variety of news topics. I did find synic8.com the most confusing of the three I discussed here. I guess it’s because there homepage has a lot of clutter on it.

I feel somewhat overwhelmed with information overload after researching these various Feed site, but one thing is certain………. If you need to find something, it’s out there.
